Reagan funnies
Thank Goodness it's Friday! Here are more Reagan funnies.
I was pulling Reagan's hair clip out of her hair and a few hairs got stuck in the clip. I said, "Oops, I'm sorry Reagan. I got a few strands of hair." Reagan said, "Oh, it's okay, I got more hair."

Easter teachings
Reagan has been asking about the things she learned in school about Easter. Here are a few of the things she said to me yesterday on the way home in the car.
"Oh, mommy! I just saw a cross at that church. Like the cross Jesus was on!"
"Mommy, those mean men poked Jesus! They stuck him with thorns!"
"Mommy, why was he on a donkey?"
Bedtime funnies with Reagan
Here is last night's conversation between me and Reagan as I was tucking her in.
Reagan-"What shape is this?" (she held her fingers up in the shape of a triangle)
Me-"A triangle!"
Reagan-"Good! Now, what is this?" (she held her fingers up in the shape of a heart)
Me-"A heart!"
Reagan-"Good job. Now, what is this?" (she scrunched her fingers down into what looked like a small rectangle, then began moving it like it was a beating heart)
Me-"A beating heart!"
Reagan-"Yes, and you know what that is? Come 'ere."
Reagan- (whispering) "GOD!"
Me-"Oh, he's in our hearts!"
Reagan-"Yeah, he's knocking, knocking, knocking, but mom.....will he ever stop knocking? I think he's gonna get tired!!!"
Reagan-"Yeah, he's knocking, knocking, knocking, but mom.....will he ever stop knocking? I think he's gonna get tired!!!"

It's a Girl!
One week ago, we found out that little baby McAdams is a little GIRL! We're so excited about this little blessing and bundle of joy. I can't wait to meet her and Caroline and Reagan will love having a girl cousin.
Gifts to the Girls
While sipping on my morning coffee, I took a look at my insulated coffee mug and remembered a post from a while back. I realized that I forgot to follow up on the post about fabric! So here is the final result! Ta da!
I purchased a set of 6 customizable insultated mugs from Oriental Trading, found fabric at Hancock's, cut the fabric with pinking shears, and had a coworker monogram each one. The result was these oh-so-pretty mugs! I gave them as gifts to the coffee drinkers in my life: my mom, sisters, and mother-in-law.....and ME! Everyone loved them. I hope they get to use them as well.

Daddy's Girl
As we were heading out this morning, Reagan's straps were a little tight on her car seat this morning and this was the conversation that followed:
Me-These are a little tight with your jacket on. I will have to fix it later.
Reagan-NOoooo. DADDY will fix it.
Me-Oh, he will?
Reagan-Yes, he will get out his tools and fix it for me!
Later on, she explained her what she wanted to be when she grows up.....and what daddy will be.
Reagan-I'm going to be a Firegirl!
Me-Oh, like a firefighter?
Reagan-Yeah, and my puppy will be a firedog!
Me-That sounds like fun, but you have to be careful!
Reagan-Yeah, and Daddy is going to be a DOCTOR when he grows up!
Friday night, after dinner Reagan looked up at our wedding picture on the wall and pointed to it.
Reagan-Oh, look! It's when you were married!
Me- Yes, that's our wedding picture!
Reagan-But, mom, don't laugh at what I'm gonna say, okay?
Me-Okay.
Reagan-When I get married, I'm not gonna kiss daddy on the lips, I'm gonna kiss him on the cheek!
Me-Oh! You're going to marry daddy?
Reagan-Yes! And you, Mommy!!!
