Boys at school

This morning on the way to school I asked Reagan whose dad it was that always plays basketball in the gym with the kids. He's puts all of the bouncy balls in the basket, then tosses the basketball up to make them all fall at once. The kids love it. Here's how the conversation went.

Reagan-That's Austin's dad
Me-Well, that's sweet of him to play ball with you all. Is Austin your friend?
Reagan-No, I try to get him to play with me, but he just likes boys.
Me-Oh, he's not your boyfriend?
Reagan-Nooo! I'm Ty's girlfriend.
Me-Oh? Do you hold hands?
Reagan-No, we just play ball. I hope Ty is here today!

I told Keith about Reagan having a boyfriend and quickly got a response:
"And how do you know this? Do we need to have the talk with her? Hehe."

Party fun

Baby Shower sneak peek!!! How cute are these?!? I just glued a few up and couldn't help but post!

Chocolate Lover

The Easter bunny brought Reagan a large hollow chocolate bunny and Reagan has been eating that bunny little by little over the past few weeks. She finally got down to the last piece last night. I left her to finish him off while I got Caroline in the tub.

About 5 minutes later, I heard a light knocking on the door. This wasn't her normal, hard knock, though. I opened the door to see Reagan knocking with the back of her hand. She had to do this because she was covered. In chocolate. And a big smile. We do love our chocolate in the Mosley household!

Tricksters

I came across this funny text message last night. It was from a few months ago. Yeah, this happened.

Reagan was getting ready for bath time and I started rubbing my belly. She noticed and said "You've got a big belly!"

I said "I know. Do you know why? Because I had you two" and I pointed to Reagan and Caroline.

Reagan responded, "I know! We tricked ya!!!" with a huge grin on her face.

Special cream

Reagan offered to help me with Caroline's bath last Friday since Reagan was not getting one. We often skip baths on Fridays, but Caroline was in need of one! Reagan was such a big helper. She rubbed the baby magic soap in Caroline's hair and got the diaper and hairbrush.

Then I asked Reagan to get the diaper cream out of the drawer. She came back with hydrocortisone cream and I told her. "It has an "A" and a "D" on it, can you find it?" I had to help her, but she insisted on putting it on Caroline's bottom.

"I'll do it, mommy." She squeezed a little of the cream out. "Oh this cream is soft. It's special cream. God made it special!"
