We have a question we like to ask Caroline from time to time just to check in with her state of mind. We ask, "Are ya happy?" and most of the time she responds, "I happy!" Once or twice we've had her grumble and shake her head, but that doesn't happen too often.
Today was particularly sweet because Caroline didn't need someone to ask her if she was happy. I sat her in her high chair with her bowl of milk and cheerios while I went in my room to grab my earrings and ring to wear to work. While I was grabbing the last few items I needed for work, I heard Caroline exclaim, "I HAPPY!" all by herself in the kitchen.
I guess honey nut cheerios will do that for a 2-year-old. :)

A Different Language
Reagan told me last night about how her teacher, Mrs. Crystal (an African-American) says things. This is how it went down.
"Mommy, Mrs. Crystal always says to Catherine at school, 'Stop pickin at them nails!' What language is that?"
LOL!!!!

C says cheeese!
Had to snap a picture of sweet Caroline this morning before I dropped her off at school. She's been giving up some BIG smiles lately!
Another thing she's been doing is saying "Hey!!!" to all of 18-wheeler trucks we pass along the road. It's so funny. When she sees them right outside of her window she starts waving and, in her sweet little voice, says "HEY!"
Love her to pieces!

Office Assistant
Another severe weather day and another day the school is closed!
Keith kept Caroline at home and I brought Reagan with me to work. She has been coloring with markers and coloring the dry erase board and playing on her leap pad and having snacks like applesauce and cereal bars.
We also took a trip downstairs to the carousel since Reagan had cabin fever. Then we stopped by Godiva for chocolates and ABC toy store for a marker set! Lastly, we had a picnic in mommy's office. Fun day with my sweet girl!

Snow Day means.....CRAFTS!
The daycare was closed yesterday, so it gave us a chance to work on valentines and valentine boxes for school! Reagan painted and decorated hers and I painted Caroline's.
We added doily hearts and sticker hearts, and topped them off with their names. They look so cute and they are ready for classmates to fill them with valentines and goodies!

Reagan humor
Chocolate
Friday night on the way home, I was excited about the 3-day weekend (MLK Jr. Day) and decided to get the girls hyped up too. I told Reagan we were going to watch a movie and have pizza and then we might pick out a sweet from the candy bowl. The candy bowl is on our kitchen counter and is filled with Christmas candy, which includes chocolate Santas, Hershey's kisses, candy canes, fruit gummies and more!
Reagan was excited about that part of the evening plan and said, "Oooh chocolate. I love chocolate! It is the BEST in my LIFE!" Hahahahahahahhahaha.
Boys
This morning's conversation on the way to school:
Reagan- Mommy? Austin, Connor and Ty all like me.
Me- They do? Why is that?
Reagan- Because I play games with them. Like I spy and tag and ball, but mostly ball!
Me- That sounds like fun. They aren't your boyfriends are they?
Reagan-NO! Just my friends.
Me-Good, because Daddy might not like you having boyfriends yet!

Yawn!
It was a long, sleepless night last night. Caroline kept us awake the majority of the night and morning. We are zombies today! Here's to a good night's rest tonight!
