Are we there yet?

Last winter, spring, and summer (well, most of the year) I was either pregnant or on maternity leave. What that means is that the Mosley family took VERY few trips. Now that I am no longer huge and pregnant or nauseated from morning sickness, I am looking forward to taking some family trips this year. Here are a few places we hope to see in 2013.

1. Camping Trip-Keith's favorite! He's been asking to go camping for many months.

2. Tybee Island/Savannah, Georgia or Charleston, South Carolina-I have had Tybee Island on my vacation list for a while now. I really want to go to Paula Deen's restaurant, The Lady and Sons, and stay in a cute beach cottage.

3. Orange Beach-We're hoping to go to Orange Beach with the girls in June or July and then again by ourselves for our Anniversary in August.

4. Stone Mountain, GA-We have memberships at Stone Mountain until December 31st 2013, so we're looking forward to taking a nearly free trip this summer for the water rides and laser light shows in July or August.

5. DISNEY WORLD! We're saving up our money to take Reagan to Disney World since she's never been. This will be our biggest and most expensive trip of the year, but we are looking forward to taking her and seeing her excitement!

6. Snow Mountain, GA-For the past few years (since Reagan was 2) we've gone to Snow Mountain, which is Stone Mountain, GA morphed into a blanket of snow! It's so much fun to go and play in the snow, watch Christmas shows, ride the train, and drink hot chocolate by the fire pits. Since we have the Stone Mountain memberships, the trip will be very inexpensive!

What trips do you plan on taking this year?

  1. We plan on taking about 50 trips to Birmingham to Brookwood Medical Center! Haha. Besides that, it would be nice to have a "babymoon" at the beach, but I'm not counting on it. Your Tybee Island vacation sounds idyllic!

  2. HA! Not quite 50, but trust me, I get where you're coming from. I was in your shoes this time last year! The Tybee island trip shouldn't cost too much either. I found a cottage for about $600 for 3 nights. We'll need fuel for the 6-7 hr. drive, though!
